Most of our customers aren't HR experts and don't want to be. We handle it for them, so they can do right by their people and stay out of trouble.
About the Role
We're looking for a Product Manager to join our Product & Growth team as we rebuild the product. You'll own a set of core, owner-facing experiences end to end, from problem definition through launch and adoption. You'll partner closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market, and you'll be the person accountable for whether what we ship actually helps a business owner.
What You'll Do
- Own product requirements and success metrics for core owner-facing experiences: onboarding, the day-one HR audit, the workflows that resolve HR issues, and the in-product assistant.
- Build and maintain the roadmap in Linear, plan and run sprints, and prioritize against owner and business outcomes.
- Write clear specs and acceptance criteria engineers can build from.
- Lead launches across engineering, design, and go-to-market, and own the rollout through handoff.
- Define and track adoption, engagement, and value metrics, and report on what's working.
- Synthesize feedback from owners and our Dedicated HR Managers into the roadmap.
- Build business cases for new initiatives and sequence them.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of product management experience at a SaaS, marketplace, or consumer software company.
- A track record of shipping products that customers adopt and keep using.
- Strong partnership with engineering, including comfort working day to day in their tools and cadence.
- Sound product judgment. You make decisions with incomplete information and stand behind them.
- Customer focus. You start from the user's outcome before writing a requirement.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI-powered products, workflow software, or mobile apps.
- Background in HR tech, fintech, SMB software, or another operational or regulated domain.
- Comfort in an early-stage, fast-moving environment without heavy process.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary plus equity. $120,000 - $160,000
