Irwin & McKnight, P.C. is a small general practice law firm seeking to add an Associate Attorney to its team. We are looking for a self-motivated candidate with 1–3 years of experience.
Our firm serves businesses, municipalities, families and individuals across a broad range of legal matters, offering attorneys the opportunity to build a diverse and rewarding practice.
Practice Areas
Ideal candidates will have experience or a strong interest in one or more of the following areas:
- Civil litigation
- Family Law
- Personal Injury
- Social Security
- Workers' Compensation
- Municipal Law
Additional practice opportunities may be available based on experience and the firm's needs.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting legal research
- Drafting pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents
- Representing clients in court appearances, municipal hearings, arbitrations, and other proceedings
- Handling Settlement Negotiations
- Participating in discovery, including conferences and depositions
- Collaborating with attorneys across the firm's practice areas
- Traveling as needed for court filings, hearings, client meetings, site visits, and other related matters
Qualifications
The ideal candidates will:
- Be licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Be motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable
- Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Value teamwork and exceptional client service
- Be interested in building a long-term career within a collaborative law firm
Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
