CLASSIFICATION MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent and three years of general accounts transaction experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for required experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Financial Transaction Processing:

Process and review daily financial transactions for construction projects in myUFL, including purchase orders, invoices, and payment applications
Verify accuracy of transactions and ensure all required approvals are in place before processing
Serve as primary point of contact for construction teams on transaction processing for construction projects
Coordinate approvals with Planning, Design, and Construction and monitor for timely completion

Data Management & Reporting:

Compile and translate construction financial data from multiple systems into clear, consolidated reports
Collaborate with Finance & Accounting, campus partners, and stakeholders to support reporting and data needs
Assist with audit preparation, research, and documentation requests
Support project teams in monitoring construction budgets and expenditures
Provide analytical, financial, and compliance support to the department

Departmental Assistance:

Assist departmental leadership with administrative and operational tasks as needed

Process Documentation & Improvement:

Review and document financial processes to ensure consistency and efficiency
Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement solutions across teams

Special Projects:

Other duties as assigned by the department leadership

EXPECTED SALARY:

$20.11 – $22.51 per Hour

PREFERRED:

Strong analytical skills and proficiency with accounting software
Attention to detail
Ability to apply problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and business‑reporting abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
Proficient in Excel
Strong interpersonal skills
