Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies according to established recipes and standards.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair to enhance visual appeal.
- Ensure all baked items are produced in a timely manner to meet customer demand.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items that cater to customer preferences.
- Package baked goods for display or catering orders while ensuring quality presentation.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers, taking special orders, and addressing inquiries about products.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation.
- Experience in cake decorating is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity in product presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
