Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, coffee preperation, and food preparation. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting Italian coffee and gelato while also maintaining cleanliness, and providing outstanding service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Prepare and serve gelato.
- Take to go orders
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining cash handling protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Assist in food preparation and presentation as needed, adhering to food handling guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; communicate needs to management.
- Maintain stock levels of pastries and gelato on display.

- Uphold health and safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or café environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic knowledge of food handling practices and retail math is beneficial.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
