Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a passion for delivering excellent customer service, whether in fine dining, catering, or banquet settings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Manage cash register, attend customers, take order and set delivery package ready for take out.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with their dining experience.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient operation during peak hours.
- Handle food items safely, including proper storage, preparation, and serving techniques.
- Assist with other activities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or related roles is preferred, including fine dining, catering, or as a dietary aide.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in banquet services is a plus but not required.
- Experience in grill is a plus but not required.
