This office position is for a general dentist four days a week, for about 27-28 hours.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients' dental issues while ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction.
Duties:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Educate patients on oral health care and preventive measures
- Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
- Administer anesthetics to limit pain during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school. We all know DDS is better.
- State licensure to practice dentistry
- Proficiency in Four Handed Dentistry techniques
- Knowledge of medical coding for billing purposes
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Ability to work effectively in a dental office setting
We are a two doctor practice in the mountains. I work four days a week and Im looking for another dentist to also work four days a week. We are in network with some insurances with a large portion of cash patients.
Pay will be 28% of collections which are historically 99% of adjusted production.
Youll be running 2 ops and checking 2 columns of hygiene. You will also have 2 assistants. Typically only one of your ops is filled, the other we will put in fluff or emergencies and its hit or miss.
The reimbursements out here are good enough and will provide you a great living without having to run around like your hair is on fire.
Our schedule is always packed and open spots are rare.
I do need you to do the root canals of which there are about 100k production per year. As well as a few dentures. Extractions would also be a nice bonus though we do not have a pano. i
Your predecessor is available and more than willing to chat with you about his experience here the past four years. I have 11 years experience and he has 25 and we would often tell eachother this was the best job weve ever had, its a nice blend of low stress and good income.
