Position Summary
ILS Transportation LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to support our transportation and logistics operations. This position is responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying inventory, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring materials are processed efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments and deliveries.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by verifying orders, packaging items, and applying labels.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
- Verify shipment quantities, product information, and delivery details.
- Track shipments and update internal systems with accurate information.
- Organize products and supplies in designated storage areas.
- Identify damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments and report issues.
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse teams, and internal departments.
- Support daily logistics operations and workflow coordination.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area.
- Follow company safety procedures and operational standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle packages or materials up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory or shipping software.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet operational deadlines.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Pay: $22.50 - $23.50 per hour
