Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather and Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and the ability to provide exceptional grooming services to our furry clients. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and well-being of pets while creating a positive experience for both the animals and their owners. As a stylist, you will be expected to have a certification alongside knowledge of breed specific cuts.
Duties
- Bathe, dry, and groom pets according to their specific needs and breed standards.
- Handle animals safely and effectively, employing proper animal restraint techniques when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness in the van and grooming tools to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Assist with basic pet care tasks such as brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning.
- Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or discomfort during grooming sessions.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and grooming preferences.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations within the van.
Qualifications
- Experience in pet care or animal handling is preferred; previous experience as a veterinary technician or in a kennel setting is a plus.
- Strong understanding of animal behavior and comfort with handling various breeds and sizes of dogs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger animals. We have two people on our vans so you will always have help lifting.
- Knowledge of basic dog training techniques is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards both pets and their owners.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to providing high-quality care.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
