Job Overview
Triangle Health Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide clinical consultation and program oversight for our behavioral health programs throughout North Carolina.
This is a fully remote, flexible, part-time position ideal for a PMHNP seeking supplemental income while supporting a growing behavioral health organization. The role focuses primarily on clinical consultation, documentation review, program oversight, compliance support, and psychiatric evaluations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations as needed
- Review and sign clinical documentation requiring PMHNP involvement
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings as needed
- Provide clinical consultation to program leadership and staff
- Assist with quality assurance and compliance activities
- Support Medicaid, state, and accreditation requirements
- Collaborate with leadership regarding program development and clinical best practices
- Maintain required licensure, certifications, and professional standards
QualificationsRequired
- Active North Carolina PMHNP License
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of two (2) years of behavioral health experience
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Experience working with adults experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred
- Experience with Medicaid-funded behavioral health services
- Experience in community mental health settings
- Familiarity with Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR), Peer Support Services, SAIOP, SACOT, and 1915(i) Home and Community-Based Services
