Patrol Officer San Jose
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Patrol Officer to help maintain safety and security across designated client properties in the South Bay area, including San Jose and surrounding communities. In this role, you will patrol assigned locations, monitor activity, respond to incidents, and report potential security concerns. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, observant, comfortable driving a company vehicle, and able to remain alert during overnight shifts.
Required licenses and certifications
Driver’s License. Clean driving record. Guard Card. Powers to Arrest certificate.
Job duties
Patrol assigned properties using a company vehicle. Observe and report activity around client locations, including areas of interest identified by the client. Respond to noise complaints and other service calls. Perform lockups and unlocks as needed. Identify potential security risks and report them promptly. Complete activity reports and incident reports using a smartphone. Respond to emergencies or incidents and report them according to company procedures.
Job requirements
Valid Guard Card. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Powers to Arrest certificate. Ability to remain calm, levelheaded, and responsive in stressful situations. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Comfortable driving a company vehicle. Ability to stay awake, alert, and attentive throughout the shift.
Schedule
9pm to 5am Wednesday thru Sunday
8-hour shifts. Overnight shifts. Weekends required. Holidays required.
