First Circle Medical Center, a program of The Snyder Foundation Inc., is a community health clinic serving patients across Margate and Hollywood, Florida. We provide integrated primary care, psychiatric/behavioral health, substance use treatment (including MAT/Suboxone), Hepatitis C treatment, and STD/HIV testing and treatment (including PrEP/HIV prevention) to a diverse, underserved patient population.
Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed, board-certified Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (APRN-BC) to provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. This role covers routine primary care alongside women's health services, STD/HIV testing and treatment, and Hepatitis C treatment — core parts of our community health mission.
Schedule & Practice Setting
- Part-time or full-time considered Minimum of 3 days per week in-person at our Margate location Remaining days may be conducted via telemedicine Flexible scheduling to accommodate the right candidate
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services for adult and pediatric patients Perform well-woman exams and Pap smears Order, perform, and interpret STD and HIV testing; manage treatment and follow-up care Prescribe and manage PrEP/HIV prevention medication Manage Hepatitis C treatment protocols Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests Collaborate with behavioral health, counseling, and outreach staff for coordinated, whole-person care Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the clinic's EHR system Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Florida APRN license Board certification in Family Medicine (FNP-BC or equivalent) through ANCC or AANP Active NPI number Current CPR/BLS certification Experience performing Pap smears and well-woman exams Ability to pass credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with STD/HIV testing and treatment, and PrEP prescribing Experience with Hepatitis C treatment protocols Experience with community health or underserved patient populations Experience with EHR systems (AdvancedMD a plus) Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) a plus
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
