Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Process cash, credit, and digital transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and register operations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales, utilizing effective sales techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including food handling areas, cashier stations, and dining spaces, adhering to sanitation standards.
- Assist with food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Support food safety management practices by following proper procedures for food handling, serving, and sanitation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred; food service customer order management experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems; cashiering experience is highly valued.
- Strong math skills for retail math, cash processing, and transaction accuracy.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with food preparation, food handling, or kitchen operations is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and operating kitchen equipment is desirable.
