Jon M. Hall Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and drive the success of our construction projects. This is an opportunity to manage Heavy Mass Grading and Underground Storm/Utility projects while collaborating with owners, engineers, and internal teams to ensure efficiency, profitability, and on-time project completion. - Develop job schedules, work orders, and budgets using estimator information.
- Provide detailed job scopes, schedules, and budgets to field supervisors before the start of each project.
- Conduct weekly reviews with the general superintendent and supervisors to assess progress and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Present weekly progress reports on all active jobs.
- Maintain full responsibility for tracking and documenting change orders, submittals, work order modifications, and contract changes .
- Obtain client approval for all change orders before work begins and ensure all documentation is submitted within the prescribed timeframe.
- Prepare timely pay requests for each project and submit them to the Division Manager/President for review 24 hours before they are due .
- Participate in monthly financial reviews , including cost variance reports, WIP reports, and profitability assessments.
- Collaborate with estimators during the bid process, providing input and reviewing estimates before proposal submission.
- Act as the primary liaison between the owner, engineers, and Jon M. Hall Company personnel .
- Ensure clear, consistent communication to align project expectations and resolve any conflicts.
- Oversee project completion, including final retainage requests, punch list resolution, and as-built documentation .
