Responsibilities
- Assemble lightweight products and components according to manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production documents.
- Operate packaging equipment and materials handling tools safely and efficiently to support production flow.
- Interpret production documents accurately to ensure proper assembly and quality standards are met.
- Conduct routine inspections of industrial equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including heavy lifting techniques, forklift operation, and adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations.
- Handle materials safely within warehouse operations, ensuring proper storage, movement, and disposal in compliance with safety standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by maintaining clean work areas and reporting any safety or equipment concerns immediately.
Skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly, packaging, and materials handling.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and safety standards in production environments.
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills for industrial equipment and packaging machinery.
- Ability to interpret production documents and follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and quality checks.
- Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts safely and effectively.
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and GMP compliance in all tasks.
- Industrial equipment troubleshooting skills to quickly resolve mechanical issues on the line.
