Job Summary
Join our incredible team as a Playa Bowls Assistant Manager, where you'll lead daily operations with energy and enthusiasm! Your leadership will inspire team members to deliver top-quality food and service while managing inventory, cash handling, and Clover POS systems. Duties
- Supervise daily store operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service delivery
- Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management
- Oversee food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Clover POS
- Ensure quick service by coordinating store activities and maintaining high productivity levels
- Conduct shift management duties including scheduling, staff delegation, and resolving customer concerns
- Assist in hiring processes by interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members (training)
- Monitor sales performance, analyze profit and loss reports, and implement strategies for growth
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and managing fast-paced restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Clover POS for efficient transactions
- Excellent leadership skills with a background in supervising hospitality teams or restaurant management
- Skilled in inventory control, food safety management, and food handling procedures
- Effective communication abilities for training staff and managing customer relations
- Basic math skills for cash handling, budgeting, and profit analysis
- Experience with shift management, staff scheduling, and team training initiatives
- Familiarity with culinary techniques from casual dining or fine dining settings is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a quick-service or fast-food restaurant environment with a focus on hospitality excellence
