Job Overview:
A fast-growing cosmetics wholesale distributor in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking an Administrative / Purchasing Assistant to support product development, purchasing, and operations.
This role is ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in beauty, product development, and supply chain operations.
This is an on-site position (not remote).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with purchasing, product development, and administrative operations
- Research beauty, fashion, and consumer trends
- Set up new products and maintain accurate data in internal systems
- Create and manage purchase orders (POs)
- Coordinate packaging, artwork, and product content with internal teams
- Review pre-production samples for quality and accuracy
- Track international shipments and inbound logistics
- Organize and manage product samples (pre-production and production)
- Create line sheets, reports, and PowerPoint presentations
- Support retail account programs and seasonal product launches
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Reliable and team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in purchasing, supply chain, or administrative support
- Experience in beauty, cosmetics, or wholesale industry
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
- Bilingual (Chinese, Korean, or other languages)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shift (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- No nights or weekends
Work Location:
In person – Los Angeles, CA
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
