Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Your exceptional communication skills and dedication to hospitality will ensure that each guest feels valued and well taken care of from the moment they arrive.
Duties
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover.
- Communicate wait times accurately to guests and keep them informed.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area.
- Bus dishes and glassware off tables.
- Assist in putting away bar dishes.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest relations.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to multitask effectively while assisting guests and managing seating arrangements.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a team-oriented environment.
