Pay: $32.00–$48.00 per hour, based on experience
Position Summary
Silver Tree Homes is seeking a dependable, skilled Construction Project Manager/Expediter to support residential remodeling and construction projects throughout Northeast Wisconsin. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in quality workmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
As the Construction Expediter, you'll play a critical role in keeping projects on schedule by completing finish carpentry, handling punch list items, coordinating materials, supporting subcontractors, and solving problems as they arise. Every day is different, and you'll be trusted to work independently while representing our company professionally with homeowners, vendors, and local officials.
Essential Responsibilities
- Complete general carpentry, repair, and handyman tasks on residential construction projects.
- Perform drywall repairs, trim work, painting, caulking, hardware installation, and other finish work.
- Complete final punch list items to ensure projects meet company quality standards.
- Perform warranty service work as needed.
Project & Material Coordination
- Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and supplies to active job sites.
- Coordinate site readiness for subcontractors and vendors.
- Help keep projects moving by anticipating needs and resolving minor issues before they become delays.
- Assist with scheduling logistics and communicate project updates with team members.
Job Site Support
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Assist with site setup and cleanup throughout each project.
- Perform seasonal property maintenance, including snow removal and lawn care when necessary.
- Serve as the company's on-site representative when needed.
Customer Service
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, inspectors, suppliers, and municipal officials.
- Represent Silver Tree Homes with professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Experience in residential construction, remodeling, carpentry, or general maintenance required.
- Strong knowledge of finish carpentry and general construction techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to take ownership of projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Climb ladders and work on uneven terrain.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Frequently bend, kneel, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
- Occasional overtime may be available based on project demands.
