BUILDING CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations
and drive project execution from the ground up. This position plays a central role in coordinating crews,
subcontractors, and inspection processes to ensure construction activities are completed safely, on
schedule, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate brings proven leadership, hands-on problem-
solving, and a commitment to delivering quality results in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Overall project site safety and coordination with corporate Safety Director.
- Coordinate with Unions.
- Coordinate subcontractors and verify all work is in accordance with project specifications.
- Assign foreman and crews to work tasks as required to complete the project.
- Review and understand project schedules and provide information to Project Manager to facilitate
schedule updates.
- Track/verify quantities installed for monthly progress payments.
- Submit daily reports summarizing all work performed, delays, resources utilized, etc.
- Coordinate material deliveries to coincide with scheduled activities.
- Review monthly project costs reports to ensure project completion within budget.
- Review and provide aid in project schedule updates.
- Communicate daily with Project Manager.
- Build a solid working relationship with client representatives and engineers working on the project.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors.
- Familiar with the requirements of OSHA and experience in the areas of hazard identification and
safety compliance.
- Capable of interpreting a critical path schedule and construction drawings.
- Strong managerial skills: Ability to schedule and multitask.
- Ability to communicate with office, clients, and architects.
- Experience in concrete, framing and finish carpentry.
- Proficient skill Level in Adobe, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
PREFERRED/OTHER
- Primavera P6 knowledge.
- USACE RMS experience.
- Valid state driver’s license / Passport for Base Access.
- Ability to successfully pass background/security checks for base and project access.
