Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations, oversee food preparation
- Supervise line cooks, providing / upholding company standards & procedures, lead by example on the line.
- Provide training on food safety, culinary techniques, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain impeccable hygiene standards across all food preparation areas.
- Ensure high culinary standards, maintain health and safety regulations
- Assist the Kitchen Manager in training staff and organizing inventory
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of our kitchen line. Including prep lists, maintaining proper par levels, help with keeping food inventory.
- Organize the kitchen and kitchen team.
- Lead an organized, accountable system for all to follow.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional line cooking experience, with a proven track record of supervisory or leadership roles in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in
- Food preparation, and culinary techniques with experience in open fire grilling, cooking of premium steaks and other grilled foods preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in cooking methods used in restaurant or catering settings.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with food industry regulations and best practices for food safety and quality assurance.
- Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth daily operations.
Certifications: Current Food Handler’s Card/ServSafe certification is required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work effectively in high-temperature, stressful environments.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
