Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests during breakfast hours. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality, ensuring that all food items are prepared and presented to the highest standards. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present breakfast items according to established standards and recipes.
- Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are strictly followed.
- Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet, ensuring it is visually appealing and well-stocked.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and attending to their needs.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including coffee machines, toasters, and other appliances.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues related to food service promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, including roles such as server, host/host, or barista.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, including cooking, meal preparation, and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of dietary aide practices or culinary skills is beneficial.
