We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
- Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Handle food items safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are followed.
- Utilize knife skills for precise food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management.
- Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service and quality food presentation.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
- Proven experience in restaurant or culinary settings, with a focus on fine dining or catering services.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Excellent cooking skills with the ability to prepare various types of cuisine.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
