Journeyman Carpenter – Tampa, FL
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Journeyman Carpenters for an immediate, long-term opportunity in Tampa, Florida.
- PAY: $24.00 – $28.00/hr (based on experience)
- HOURS: 8-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM
- SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday; approximately 40 hours/week
- START DATE: Immediate / ASAP
- DURATION: Long term project
Journeyman Carpenter Job Description:
Carpenters will be building wood railings, staircases, and ramps. Responsibilities include framing, decking, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials, along with general carpentry duties on a large commercial job site.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in commercial construction
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Experience with framing, decking, and general carpentry tasks
- Must have own tools required for journeyman-level work
- Must be able to safely use hand and power tools
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and work in various positions throughout the day
- Comfortable working at heights when required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
PPE / Tools Required:
- Standard PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots)
- Fully equipped with journeyman-level carpentry tools
Additional Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to the job site
- Background check required for job site
