Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Canine Caretaker to join our team and provide exceptional care for dogs in our facility. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals, ensuring their well-being, safety, and happiness. As a Canine Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, engaging with dogs through training and play, and supporting pet owners with their pet care needs. Each Me And My Dogs Caretaker is expected to:
- potty dogs
- feed dogs at the scheduled time
- administer daily medications as instructed
- fill water bowls
- sweep, mop and tidy the dog’s room daily
- supervise individual play
- walk dogs on leash
- report any and all health concerns
Prior to leaving each day Caretakers are expected to:
- tidy feeding tables
- potty every dog
- scoop poop in the kennel
- refill the dog’s water bowl
- fill water jugs
- refresh mop buckets
Additional Canine Caretaker tasks are but not limited to:
- bathe and brush dogs as needed
- clean and sanitize rooms between boarders
- wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry
- wash dog bowls and pails
Qualifications:
- no fear of dogs
- must be dependable and punctual
- must have reliable transportation
- able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- able to stand/walk for entire shift
- able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Flexible Hours
7:30 AM - 11:30 AM and/or 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
