Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Field / Construction Engineer to join our team and drive excellence in infrastructure and construction projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee project execution on-site, ensuring that all aspects of construction meet safety, quality, and technical standards. As a key contributor, you will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, manage technical documentation, and ensure project milestones are achieved efficiently. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Perform field inspection, testing, sampling and engineering for compliance with project specifications, drawings and standards
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions as necessary.
- Develop and maintain project records and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with construction operation
- EIT or able to obtain with 6 months
- Familiar with project engineering or project management within the construction industry.
- Strong technical writing skills for effective communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Ability to commute to assigned office and project sites and maintain a reasonable means of commute
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work in construction environment with extended periods of walking and standing.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires outdoor work in all weather.
