Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, steering, and alignment.
- Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and tire rotations to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully to execute repairs on GM vehicles with precision and efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to meet safety standards.
- Perform auto body repairs and welding when necessary to restore vehicle integrity.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and schematics meticulously to ensure high-quality workmanship in all automotive repairs and maintenance tasks.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair of GM vehicles.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and mechanical components.
- Skilled in handling hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools.
- Experience with ADAS calibration, air brake systems, diesel engine repair, and powertrain maintenance.
- Ability to perform complex repairs including transmissions, wheel alignments, suspension work, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacement.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Familiarity with auto estimating software and auto body repair processes is a plus.
