Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Countertop Installer and Fabricator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality countertops and expertly installing them on various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets precise specifications, adheres to safety standards, and exceeds client expectations. Duties
- Measure and interpret blueprint specifications accurately to ensure precise fabrication of countertops and related surfaces.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to cut, shape, and install materials such as stone, quartz, laminate, or solid surface materials.
- Fabricate countertops according to detailed schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings using tools like tape measures, tile masonry techniques, and fabrication machinery.
- Install countertops securely on cabinets or existing structures while ensuring proper alignment, levelness, and finishing touches such as caulking and trim carpentry.
- Perform site inspections to verify that installation meets safety standards and project specifications; coordinate with construction management teams for seamless workflow.
- Assist with other building material installations including tile laying, drywall finishing, gutter installation, roofing components, or plastering as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment; operate ladders safely for elevated installations; utilize schematics for complex projects; interpret technical drawings accurately.
Experience
- Proven experience in countertop fabrication and installation within a construction or remodeling setting.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings related to building material installation.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and construction site safety protocols.
- Familiarity with construction management principles including estimating costs and managing project timelines.
- Background in related trades such as carpentry, masonry (tile masonry experience), plumbing (fixture installation), electrical work (schematics interpretation), or roofing is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship in remodeling projects or restoration work.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
