Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Master Electrician to serve as the qualifying license holder and technical leader for a growing commercial and industrial electrical contracting company based in Laredo, Texas. This individual will play a critical role in building the company from the ground up by providing technical oversight, estimating projects, supporting business development efforts, supervising field operations, ensuring code compliance, and helping establish operational standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Responsible Master Electrician (RME).
- Estimate commercial and industrial projects.
- Review plans, specifications and perform takeoffs.
- Prepare bids and proposals.
- Supervise field operations and electrical crews.
- Ensure NEC, OSHA and local code compliance.
- Participate in client meetings and business development activities.
- Support project management, scheduling and change orders.
- Develop operational standards and safety programs.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Master Electrician License.
- Minimum 10 years of electrical industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years in commercial and/or industrial construction.
- Proven estimating and project management experience.
- Ability to lead crews and mentor Journeymen and Apprentices.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
