Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs in a friendly, energetic manner
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions and handle cash, credit cards, and mobile payments
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure an inviting shopping environment
- Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and replenishing merchandise as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining phone etiquette when assisting remote inquiries
- Support the store team with supervising tasks when needed, including training new associates and ensuring adherence to store policies
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is highly desirable
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse customer groups
- Demonstrated supervisory experience or leadership skills are beneficial for supporting team operations
- Strong communication skills coupled with excellent customer service capabilities are essential for success in this role
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as giving correct change and managing transactions accurately
- Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos will help you excel in this energetic retail setting
Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour
