We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team in Irving, TX. The LVN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, assist with medical procedures, and support the healthcare team in delivering excellent patient outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist with patient assessments and document patient information accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Current and valid LVN license in the state of Texas.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited LVN program.
- Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- CPR certification is preferred.
This position is based in Irving, TX, and may require working various shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays depending on patient needs.
