Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage table settings, clear dishes, buss tables, and assist with sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address inquiries, and resolve any concerns promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build guest relations
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while multitasking between serving, upselling, and maintaining cleanliness
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
