360 Rigging, LLC Driver's are responsible for overseeing daily moving and rigging to ensure crews, trucks, and equipment arrive at job sites safely and on schedule. This role maintains clear communication with the office throughout the day, supports and guides less experienced team members, and ensures that all tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with safety and company standards. The Team Lead also verifies that vehicles, tools, and equipment are in proper working order before departure and provides coaching to team members on their daily responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coordination: Team Leads supervise and guide crew members, assigning tasks and reminding them of their daily responsibilities. They maintain constant communication with the office to provide updates on schedules, job progress, and any issues that arise. This role ensures that crews depart on time with properly loaded trucks and equipment, while fostering a safe and productive work environment.
Furniture Handling & Job Site Operations: Team Leads oversee the safe loading, unloading, transport, assembly, and disassembly of furniture and equipment. They monitor proper handling techniques to prevent damage and injuries, and ensure that work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with job site and facility standards.
Rigging and Heavy Equipment Operations: This role ensures that all rigging materials and tools are available and in good condition before use. The Team Lead operates or supervises the operation of lifts, dollies, forklifts, and other heavy equipment, performs load assessments, secures equipment properly, and enforces all safety protocols to guarantee efficient and safe job site operations.
Vehicle and Facility Maintenance: The Team Lead inspects vehicles, tools, and equipment to confirm they are in proper working order and performs or oversees basic preventive maintenance. They also ensure that trucks, equipment, and workspaces remain clean, organized, and safe for all personnel.
Administrative and Timekeeping Tasks: The Team Lead tracks crew work hours, equipment usage, and job progress, ensuring that all required logs, reports, and documentation are completed accurately and on time. They also assist with scheduling, inventory tracking, and compliance tasks to support smooth and efficient daily operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial moving, rigging, or material handling preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor less experienced team members
- Knowledge of rigging, heavy equipment operation, and safe handling practices
- Physically able to perform labor-intensive tasks and work in varied environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with office staff and field teams
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage crews in fast-paced, changing job environments
- Forklift certified (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
