Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are properly sanitized and ready for use. Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service
- Support food preparation tasks as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Assist with basic food prep or catering setup when required
- Ensure timely turnaround of clean dishes to meet the needs of the restaurant or event service
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
Skills
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic understanding of food handling and safety regulations
