Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans promptly using proper sanitation procedures
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, dining areas, and service equipment through regular cleaning
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling protocols and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with servers, cooks, and management to ensure seamless service flow during busy hours
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or cleaning supplies
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards across all areas
- Knowledge of basic food handling safety practices is a plus
- Experience with bussing, cleaning, or kitchen support roles in hotels or catering settings is advantageous
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues and guests
