Job Summary
Well established busy Traditional Men's Barber Shop is looking for licensed barber/stylist for Tuesday & Saturday and possible Friday's. We are looking for a barber to handle overflow and build your own base of clients. Tuesday's/Friday's & Saturday's. This position has the ability to grow into a full time position as you build your clientele.
Responsibilities
- Deliver precise and creative men's haircuts, fades, shaves, and grooming services using professional barbering techniques including straight razor shaves.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all tools, equipment, and work areas following health regulations.
- Consult with clients to understand their grooming preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments such as hair coloring or hair extensions.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging in clear communication, listening attentively to client needs, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry.
- Skilled in traditional barbering techniques including straight razor shaves, hair styling, and beard trimming.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper sterilization procedures for tools and equipment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their grooming goals.
- Passion for continuous learning about new trends in men's grooming, hair care products, and styling techniques such as color theory.
