Position Title: Site Coordinator
Location: Triumph Teen Life Center – 2121 E College Way, Suite B, Mount Vernon, WA
Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM & Wednesday: 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Compensation: $22/hour
Hours per week: 20-25 hrs/week
Reports to: Executive Director
Job Summary:The Triumph Site Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily operations of all teen programs at Triumph Teen Life Center. This role includes supervising youth, supporting program coaches, managing site logistics, leading workshops, ensuring safety, and helping facilitate smooth transitions between activities. The Site Coordinator plays a vital role in fostering a welcoming, structured, and inclusive environment for middle and high school students.
Weekly Program Schedule Overview
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- 1:30 - 2:00 PM Set Up
- 2:00 - 3:00 PM: Meal & Recreational Supervision
- 3:00 - 3:30 PM: Facilitate Build Up Workshops (Monday/Friday)
- 3:00 - 4:45 PM: Studio Support, Youth Supervision
- 4:45 - 5:30 PM: Dismissal and Clean-Up
Wednesday
- 12:00 - 1:00 PM: Homework and Reading Time
- 1:00 - 2:00 PM: Weekly Workshop
- 2:00 - 2:45 PM: Meal & Rec Supervision
- 2:45 - 3:30 PM: Dismissal and Clean-Up
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise students during arrival, meals, workshops, and transitions
- Facilitate or co-lead workshops
- Support youth engagement and behavior management in collaboration with coaches
- Monitor studio areas and support set-up and clean-up routines
- Communicate daily with the Program Director regarding site updates
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and inclusive environment
- Confirm daily transportation and sign-out procedures
- Provide informal check-ins and mentorship to students
- Assist with scheduling, supplies, and volunteer coordination when needed
- Attend all required staff meetings, trainings, and events
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Experience working with youth and coordinating programs
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Highly organized and flexible in fast-paced settings
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Reliable, dependable, and culturally responsive
- Knowledgeable in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive and Gmail)
- Basic understanding of youth development principles and trauma informed practices (preferred)
- Must pass background check
- Must complete First Aid/CPR training and obtain Food Handlers Permit
Physical Demands:
- Ability to move between indoor and outdoor areas
- Lift and carry up to 25 lbs (supplies, equipment)
- Monitor and support students in a busy, teen-centered space
Work Environment:
- Supervise large groups in an active environment
- Youth-focused, high-energy atmosphere
- Requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends for performances
- Noise typical of a teen center or event setting
