Paradise Massages Waikiki & Spa is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Receptionist with a current Hawaiʻi Esthetician License. This position combines front desk responsibilities with professional esthetic services in a calm, organized spa known for its excellent reputation in Waikiki. Front Desk Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in clients with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Schedule and manage appointments using the spa booking system.
- Answer phone calls, emails, text messages, and assist with client inquiries.
- Process payments and gift cards.
- Promote spa services, products, and special offers.
- Assist with service bookings and coordinate therapist schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
- Support daily spa operations and provide exceptional customer service.
Esthetician Responsibilities
- Perform professional facial treatments based on each client's individual skincare needs.
- Provide advanced facial services, including Microdermabrasion and Hydro-Dermabrasion.
- Perform skin analysis and recommend appropriate treatments and home-care products.
- Apply cleansers, exfoliants, masks, steam, serums, moisturizers, and other professional skincare products.
- Perform light extractions when appropriate.
- Perform a variety of spa body treatments, including body wraps, scalp treatments back hand and foot treatments, dry brushing and other spa services as needed.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and professional treatment room while following all health and sanitation regulations.
- Educate clients on skincare and recommend follow-up treatments.
Experience & Qualifications
- Current Hawaiʻi Esthetician License.
- Experience performing facials, advanced skincare treatments, and spa body treatments is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional, reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced spa environment.
- Previous spa or salon experience is preferred but not required.
CompensationReceptionist
- Hourly pay based on experience.
- Additional commission earned on completed service bookings.
Licensed Esthetician
- Compensation starts at 30%, depending on experience, plus tips.
