Metal parts manufacturer for Defense and Commercial industries requires experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor. Successful candidate will direct Quality Assurance, gage calibration, write and apply SPC Management Plans, Plans of Inspection, and the supervision of inspection personnel. Applicants should be familiar with measuring instruments and techniques. Pay rate based on experience.
Requirements:
- Ability to direct Quality Assurance program and supervise personnel
- Ability to read Technical Data Packages and DOD Specifications
- Write Plans of Inspection and determine gage requirements
- Write and apply SPC plans
- Experience with ISO and DOD requirements
- Gage calibration
- Initiate Corrective Actions
- Working knowledge of measuring instruments including:
- Coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
- Optical Comparator
- Measuring equipment & techniques (micrometers, calipers, attribute gages, etc.)
Education and Experience:
- Quality Assurance Technical Certificate, Associates Degree in Engineering Technology, or higher
- Minimum of four years experience required
Normal hours of operation for this position are four 10 hour workdays, M-TH 6 am – 4:30 pm.
