Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Caregiver to provide exceptional personalized care an individual in their home. Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Monitor patients’ health by observing vital signs, medication adherence, and overall well-being
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Support mobility and transfers using patient transfer methods that ensure safety
- Maintain detailed care plans, document observations, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment in accordance with health standards
Experience
- Prior experience working as a caregiver in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with medication administration, HIPAA regulations, and patient confidentiality standards
- Hands-on experience with equipment like stairlifts and patient transfer methods
- Background in providing specialized care for seniors
- Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs safely while maintaining dignity and respect for the client
