Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and delivering utensils or condiments as needed
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual cleaning techniques in compliance with food safety sanitizing procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards is advantageous
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely is essential
- Experience operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or prep stations is a plus
- Strong understanding of kitchen health and safety standards, including proper food handling practices
- Prior banquet or catering experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- A positive attitude with excellent teamwork skills and a willingness to learn are highly valued
