We Operate 7 days a week the available schedule is as follows:
DAYS OFF. Wednesday and Thursday. Opportunity to work 6 days when a 6th day becomes available. POSSIBLE DIFFERENT DAYS OFF to be discusses upon hire.
Driver will be covering a dedicated territory with the possibility of a territory change. Routes are located in central San Diego and South Bay. Available zip codes: 92106, 92107, 92101 and 92103
Daily activities included and not limited to:
* Trucks are PreLoaded at terminal
* Deliver and pick-up packages
* Maintain inventory of packages using handheld computer
Ideal candidates:
* 12 MONTHS OF DRIVING EXPERIENCE Preferred.......UBER, LYFT, and any types of deliveries is acceptable.
STEPVAN DELIVERY TRUCK 16FT OR SIMILAR VEHICLE PREFERRED
* Willing to submit to a criminal background check, physical (DOT card), and DRUG TESTING. All results must pass FedEx strict requirements. Felonies will disqualify you from eligibility.
* Class "C" driver's license
* Be able to start work at 9:00am to 8:00pm without a restriction. A typical day is 9:00am-6:00pm
* Be able to lift up to 150lbs.
* Be at least 21 years old.
* Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
* Previous customer service experience
*Ideal candidates will deliver 120-180 stops per day so good physical fitness is essential. This job requires more time out of the vehicle delivering than in the vehicle driving.
Uniforms, equipment, truck and everything needed to perform the job is provided.
Weekly earnings range between $800 - $1100.
PAY: $19.00 per hour, after 90 days probation period $20.00 per hour
