We are looking for an A level automotive technician with the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years working in a professional repair shop or dealership
- PA state inspections and emissions license (required)
Technical Skills:
- Engine Diagnostics: Use lab scopes and scanners to find deep internal engine or fuel system faults
- Electrical Systems: Read complex wiring diagrams and fix multiplexing or computer network issues
- Drivability: Test and repair rough idles, hesitation, and bad fuel economy problems
- Unit Overhaul: Tear down, rebuild, and re-seal engines, transmissions, and major drive-axle units
Tools and Work Habits:
- Professional Tools: Own a complete set of hand tools, specialty diagnostic meters, and air/battery power tools
- Fast and Accurate: Fix hard problems right the first time without wasting shop time
- Must be able to work well with others and independently
- Must be able to communicate clearly with co-workers
