Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to support our Subway location in Ogallala. In this role, you will help oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure smooth team performance, and deliver a top-notch customer experience. Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Support staff training and development to ensure high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency with Subway standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels, control stock rotation, and report shortages or discrepancies to prevent waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety.
- Support shift management by coordinating team schedules, supervising staff performance, and resolving customer issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or supervisory roles within quick service or fast food restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Experience with POS systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate team members.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and customers alike.
- Background in hospitality management or culinary experience is a plus.
