Responsibilities
Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites and existing buildings.
Support the reading and interpretation of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate pipe installation and system setup.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively under supervision.
Participate in the assembly of plumbing components, pipe fitting, and remodeling projects while adhering to building code compliance standards.
Help maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols related to construction site activities, including power tool safety and HVAC considerations.
Assist with troubleshooting plumbing issues, performing system inspections, and conducting routine maintenance tasks.
Contribute to team efforts by supporting carpentry tasks, handyman repairs, and general site cleanup as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in plumbing or construction is a plus.
Construction site experience or hands-on work with plumbing systems is highly desirable.
Basic knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques.
Strong mechanical aptitude with an understanding of HVAC systems and plumbing system maintenance.
Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material estimates.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
