We are looking for a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a full, part time, and/or prn capacity. We have a low-stress and fun environment with owners heavily involved in the business. We are a family owned, independent pharmacy that values flexibility and a positive work environment!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Providing excellent customer service to patients, health care providers, and insurers
Counting, labeling, and reconstituting prescription medications
Inputting and retrieving information through the pharmacy system and point-
of-sale system
Obtaining refill authorizations from prescribers
Processing and preparing third-party insurance claims
Maintaining accurate patient and client profiles
Assisting the pharmacist with managing inventory
Preparing reports related to sales, usage, and inventory
Maintaining and cleaning equipment, work areas, and shelves
Qualifications:
Valid Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician License
No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
