Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Nationally recognized certification in sign language interpretation (such as EIPA, RID, or NIC)
- Proficiency in American Sign Language and English
- Previous experience supporting students in K-12 educational settings is highly valued
- Ability to interpret complex subject matter and adapt communication styles for various age groups and needs

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely interpretation between spoken English and American Sign Language in classroom settings, assemblies, extracurricular activities, and school meetings
- Assist students who are deaf or hard of hearing in fully accessing the curriculum and participating in all aspects of their educational experience
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administration to help implement accommodations and best practices for student success
- Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times
- Participate in student support meetings and implement strategies for effective communication between all parties
- Maintain records as required and uphold standards of professional practice
