Site Manager — Car Wash The Opportunity
We are an express car wash chain expanding across Southern California. We're looking for a hands-on leader to run the day-to-day at our upcoming San Fernando Valley car wash. This is the person who keeps the whole operation humming — making sure equipment runs, the site looks sharp, vendors deliver, and customers leave happy. You'll own the location's performance on the ground while keeping ownership in the loop on how things are tracking.
If you like a role where no two days look the same — part operator, part problem-solver, part people person — this one's for you.
What the Job Looks LikeKeeping the Site Running
- Run the location end to end, holding quality and output to a consistent standard day after day.
- Stay ahead of equipment needs by scheduling maintenance, repairs, and any new installs before small issues become big ones.
- Keep the shelves stocked — spare parts, supplies, and chemicals on hand so the wash never goes down for lack of inventory.
- Be the point of contact for outside vendors handling service calls, parts, and equipment work, and build relationships that get you fast, reliable support.
- Get hands-on with the machinery itself, including power tools, always following equipment guidelines and safety steps.
Taking Care of Customers
- Set the tone for service — friendly greetings, quick help, and a visit worth coming back for.
- Field questions, sort out complaints on the spot, and point customers in the right direction; loop in ownership only when something's genuinely beyond your call.
- Handle the front desk: answer the phone, troubleshoot vending and cash-dispensing hiccups, and resolve issues as they come up.
- Talk up the monthly membership at the pay station and help turn one-time washes into regulars.
Reporting to Ownership
- Send ownership a weekly rundown covering operations, upkeep, and how the numbers are looking.
- Flag the big stuff early — emergencies, major breakdowns, or anything that calls for a capital decision.
What We're Looking For
- A track record managing a car wash, auto, retail, or service-industry location.
- Someone organized and easy to communicate with — equally comfortable juggling a vendor schedule and writing up a weekly report.
- Confidence balancing the desk work with being out on the floor where the action is.
- Solid footing with everyday computer tools and inventory systems.
The Working Environment
This is an active, on-your-feet role. Expect to:
- Stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the day, with occasional squatting, climbing, ladder use, and twisting.
- Work outdoors in all kinds of weather, including Valley heat.
- Be around cleaning chemicals
How We Operate Here
- Show up on time. If you're running late or need to head out early, give ownership a heads-up in advance.
- Keep the place clean, safe, and welcoming — you're the face of the brand on-site.
- Come to work in a full, clean uniform with good hygiene.
- Phones and headphones stay away during work hours, no exceptions.
This description covers the core of the role but isn't exhaustive — additional responsibilities may be added, and duties can change without notice. All team members are expected to follow company policies, including the Employee Handbook.
