Cook/ Manager needed for School food service program in the Edison, NJ area. Monday through Friday. Full time position, 7 to 8 hours daily. No weekends or Holidays. Some evening caterings occasionally when needed.
Strong culinary experience required. K - 12 school food service is required. Able to lead culinary operations in kitchen. ServSafe® certification is required.
Qualifications:

Catering experience is required.

Proficient in technology, namely GoogleMicrosoft products, and POS systems.

Client facing role, comfortable with regular client interactions.

Able to lift 50 lbs.

Ordering and inventory experience.

Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen.

Following all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene regulations.

Enforce use of all safety equipment provide for staff at all times.

Oversee kitchen area and staff needs etc.
