The Family Supportive Housing Advocates serves as a case manager, providing direct, community-based support to families working toward stable housing. This role focuses on case management, housing retention, and connecting families to essential services.

Provide ongoing case management to families in our supportive housing programs

Make regular home visits and stay consistently connected with your clients

Help families navigate housing paperwork and program requirements

Support financial stability through budgeting and resource planning

Connect clients to community resources — healthcare, employment, childcare, and more

Step in to deescalate conflict and respond calmly when a crisis comes up

A valid Vermont driver's license

4+ years relevant professional experience

Comfort and compassion working with people facing mental health challenges, substance use, or economic hardship

Strong communication and documentation skills, and the ability to manage your own caseload independently
